How God’s second commandment helps us become more like Jesus.

This is the second week of our summer sermon series entitled Guardrails. In this series, we are covering one of the ten commandments every Sunday. We’re looking at how each of God’s commands are boundaries that create beauty, fences that reduce fear and expand freedom, and guardrails that increase protection. These commands flow from the heart of a loving Father who wants abundant life for His children. This week we cover the second commandment and how it protects us and future generations from becoming less and less human and invites us to look more and more like God by worshiping Him alone.
