This is the third week of our summer sermon series entitled Guardrails. In this series, we are covering one of the ten commandments every Sunday. We’re looking at how each of God’s commands are boundaries that create beauty, fences that reduce fear and expand freedom, and guardrails that increase protection. These commands flow from the heart of a loving Father who wants abundant life for His children. This week we cover the third commandment and how we can misuse the name of the Lord both with our words and with our lives. This commandment is a loving guardrail because we will end up eating the fruit of however we use or misuse God’s name. Let’s watch and learn God’s heart behind the third of the ten commandments.
