How stealing from others steals from us
Jul 26, 2026 • Mark Stephenson
This is the eighth week of our summer sermon series entitled Guardrails. In this series, we are covering one of the ten commandments every Sunday. These commandments flow from the heart of a loving Father who wants abundant life for His children. This week we cover the commandment not to steal. This commandment is a loving guardrail not only because it protects against the pain of theft, but it also keeps us from selling our soul. It’s not just the person who is stolen from who experiences loss. The person to steals might actually lose more in the exchange. Let’s watch and learn God’s heart behind the eighth commandment and how a life of sacrificial giving and generosity produces a life of flourishing.
