How coveting kills but constraints lead to creativity

This is the tenth and final week of our summer sermon series entitled Guardrails. In this series, we’ve been covering one of the ten commandments every Sunday. These commandments flow from the heart of a loving Father who wants abundant life for His children. This week we cover the commandment not to covet your neighbor’s things. This commandment goes a layer deeper as it targets the desires of our hearts. This commandment guards us from desiring things that are not ours to have. We tend to believe that more is always better. But what if our limitations in life lead to the best possible version of ourselves? What if our constraints lead to creativity? Let’s watch and learn God’s heart behind the tenth and final commandment and how seeing opportunity in constraints can help us be set free from the bondage of coveting.
