Curious 2 – What Christians Believe About Creation, Evolution, and the Origins of the Universe

This is the first week of our sermon series entitled Curious 2. Last Spring, we did our first Curious series. In this series, we are getting questions texted in from the congregation and answering those questions to the best of our ability. These are questions that people always wanted to know but may have been too afraid to ask. This week we’ll answer this question: “How does the solar system, dinosaurs, and evolution fit into Christianity?” We unpack the various views of how God created the world. And while Christians disagree about how God created, every Christians agrees that God created. The Doctrine of Creation is the foundation of agreement even among Christians who have different views of God’s creative process. 

Let’s watch and learn about the different views that bring together Genesis 1 and the natural sciences as we try to understand how God created the world.
