Curious 2 – Was Judas saved in the end? Or was he disqualified?

This is the second week of our sermon series entitled Curious 2. In this series, we are getting questions texted in from the congregation and answering those questions to the best of our ability. These are questions that people always wanted to know but may have been too afraid to ask. This week we’ll answer one part of this two-part question: “What is God's (perspective) and the biblical perspective concerning suicide? Judas committed suicide. Was he saved if he confessed his sin to Jesus/God and was able to go into heaven?”  This week we unpack the life and death of Judas as a biblical foundation for our conversation next week about suicide. Why did Judas betray Jesus? Did Judas repent in the end? Is Judas saved? Let’s watch and learn the three main views about Judas’s betrayal as a way of understanding his death a little better.
