This is the first week of our Cultivate Tomorrow: Roots series. This our Lenten series that will take us through Easter. This week Mark Stephenson lays the ground work for why it’s so important that we, as a church, are rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many Americans don’t have a biblical understanding of the gospel. For instance, some might believe that people are basically good and that culture is basically neutral. However, the gospel says something different. Let’s dig into scripture and learn what the Bible really says about us and about the nature of society.
