This is the third week of our Cultivate Tomorrow: Roots series. This our Lenten series that will take us through Easter. This week Mark Stephenson helps us again address what the gospel does and doesn’t say about us. We can sometimes buy into the lie that the more religious we are the more God is pleased with us. But this isn’t what the gospel says. Jesus spoke many strong words against the most religious people of his day. What the Lord is looking for is a humble heart full of repentance. But what does a repentant heart look like? Let’s hear what the gospel has to say about living in repentance.
