This is the second week of our New Year series entitled Practicing Your Faith. In this series we are looking at the spiritual practices that will help you develop a deep, interior life with God. This week we look at fasting. Why is fasting important? What happens when we fast? What is the goal of fasting? How do we actually fast? What should we avoid when fasting? What if we’re not medically able to fast from food? Can we still fast? We’ll address all of these questions and more.
