Practicing Your Faith - Week 5

Feb 1, 2026    Mark Stephenson

This is the fifth week of our sermon series entitled Practicing Your Faith. In this series we are looking at the spiritual practices that will help us develop a deep, interior life with God. This week we look at solitude. Solitude is all about intentionally getting alone so that we can be with the Father and allowing the external silence and solitude to seep into our souls. Eventually, regularly external solitude produces internal solitude and silence, where our heart and mind are able to be calm and still, like a mountain lake. Paradoxically, regular solitude in our life makes us better with people. Let’s watch and learn how solitude can be a transformative practice in our lives.
