Practicing Your Faith - Week 6

This is the sixth week of our sermon series entitled Practicing Your Faith. In this series we are looking at the spiritual practices that will help us develop a deep, interior life with God. This week we look at service. Most of us think we understand what service is. When asked, most people would say that they serve the people around them. However, much of what passes as service is actually self-righteous service. And there is a big difference between self-righteous service and true service. When true service is practiced regularly, we start to live out servanthood. And when servanthood moves from our actions to our identity, we start to become a servant. Let’s watch and learn how true service can transform us from the inside out.
