Anti-Hero : The Book of Judges - Chapter 8

This is the seventh week of our fall series entitled Anti-Hero: The book of Judges. God raises up warrior leaders, called Judges, to set Israel free from the oppression of invading armies. The first three Judges, Othniel, Ehud, and Deborah are the best of the best. But then we take a downward turn as we look at the life of Gideon. Gideon starts in fear, becomes a courageous warrior, and then falters at the end of his life. His legacy is tarnished by the self-indulgence he expresses at the end of his leadership season. This temptation is all too familiar for leaders. Let’s watch learn how to finish strong, all the way to the end of our life, and keep our leadership legacy intact.
