Paul’s first prayer for the Ephesians

This is the third week of our fall sermon series entitled “Perspectives from Prison: The Letter to the Ephesians.” In this series we are walking through Paul’s letter to the Ephesians that he wrote while under house arrest in Rome. This week we look at the second part of chapter 1, which a prayer that Paul prays for the Ephesians. Paul prays that God would give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation. He also prays that the eyes of their heart would be opened so that they can know their hope, their inheritance, and their power. But why would God give his people so much access to so much resurrection power? Let’s watch and learn why Paul prays this way for the Ephesians.
